Ways to Give
In our 2009-10 season, the Alliance Theatre celebrates 41 years of great theatre. This season celebrates a rich legacy of quality theatre, a unique national profile noted for its focus on new works, and a steadfast promise to reach out to Atlanta to connect with a diverse audience. By supporting the Alliance, you are leaving a legacy of great artistic performance for the whole community.
As the Southeast’s preeminent professional theatre company, we produce more than just creat theatre for our community. The Alliance Thetre's commitment to education and new play development sets us apart and creates opportunities for students of all ages to experience the impact theatre can have on learning.
- Our education programs reach more than 70,000 Georgia children each year through performances and school arts programs.
- The Alliance is home to the Kendeda Graduate Playwriting Competition, a one-of-a-kind national competition which allows our audiences to enjoy a first encounter with some of tomorrow's breakthrough plays and playwrights.
- Each year the Alliance presents over 350 performances to diverse audiences, reaching more than 200,000 people.
- The strength of our legacy locally and the power of our profile nationally are reflected in our receiving the 2007 Regional Theatre Tony Award® for Outstanding Achievement.
We need your support of the arts in Atlanta now more than ever. With a tax-deductible gift to the Alliance, you not only preserve our exceptional education and new play initiatives, but allow us to grow and dream.
