Institute for Educators
The Alliance Theatre Institute for Educators and Teaching Artists is a year round collaborative partnership between the Alliance Theatre and participating partner schools and their classroom teachers. Institute programs link directly to school curriculum and are tailored to meet individual classroom goals while aligning with the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS). Professional Learning is a key component to the Institute partnership, recommending a three year commitment from the school and classroom teacher for successful implementation. All programs include comprehensive professional learning opportunities for educators through summer seminars and workshops, curriculum based classroom residencies and team planning sessions with an Alliance Theatre teaching artist and a field trip to the Alliance Theatre.
