Ushers
Thank you for your interest in the Volunteer Usher Program for the Alliance Theatre!
As a volunteer usher you will enjoy the privileges of being a part of our exciting theatrical family and making new friends.
An Alliance Usher is an ambassador for the theatre and a host/hostess to our patrons for the evening – we’re here because they are here. We strive to enrich their lives and lift their spirits by giving Legendary Service. An Alliance Usher has a welcoming smile, a desire to serve, and an informed mind.
To become an Alliance Usher you will need to register and attend a New Usher Orientation Session. Typically, orientation sessions are on the 2nd Saturday of January, March, June and September at 10 AM in the Alliance Theatre located at 1280 Peachtree Street. Each session lasts approximately 2 hours and covers all policies and procedures of the Usher Program and also includes a tour of the Theatre and the Arts Center facilities.
You can register to become an usher using the form below. If you would like more information about the Usher Program, you can call our Usher Hotline at 404.733.4761, or email the House Manager at
shana.orr@woodruffcenter.org.
Future usher orientations are: - Saturday, Aug. 7, 10 a.m.
