About the Class
Youth Players is a performance-based class for teens that culminates in a full production of a one-act play. Students will experience the entire process of putting on a show, from auditions to the final performance, while learning blocking, line memorization, and working as an ensemble. Along the way, they’ll develop essential rehearsal techniques and professional etiquette. The production will feature technical elements like props, costumes, sound, and lighting, providing a comprehensive theater experience. Auditions will take place during one of the first class sessions, and every student will have a chance to shine on stage!
