    Technical Theater Camps
Explore the exciting world of technical theater in this 2-week camp for high school-aged technicians and designers. Offered at our Midtown Atlanta location at the Woodruff Arts Center, this camp is ideal for students who want to be part of the creative process behind the curtain.
About the Experience
At Technical Theater Camp, young artists are invited to dive into the essential elements that bring a production to life. Campers will work hands-on to design and build the technical elements for the Advanced Musical Theater Camp, gaining valuable behind-the-scenes experience. Guided by professional theater artists, campers will:
- Explore Technical Design: Learn the basics of set, lighting, sound, and props design.
- Hone Stage Management Skills: Gain practical experience in coordinating and organizing live performances.
- Foster Creativity and Teamwork: Collaborate with peers to craft the technical elements of a live production.
The camp culminates in a live performance where campers take their place backstage, ensuring the show goes off without a hitch. Friends and family are invited to watch the incredible creativity and talent of these budding technicians and designers.
