Kayla is extremely thrilled to be making her musical theater debut and joining the fabulous cast of Trading Places! Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, Kayla began dancing at just 1 year old. She most recently graduated from Wagner College with a B.A. in Dance Education, while simultaneously pursuing a professional career in commercial dance. Kayla has performed with several musical artists, such as Meghan Trainor, J Balvin, Meek Mill, and the Jonas Brothers, and has been featured on television shows such as “Law & Order: SVU” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”. She also is a member of the Brooklynettes, the official dance team for the NBA Brooklyn Nets. Kayla would like to extend a huge thank you to her agency, Bloc NYC, her parents, Stephanie and Sean Cruz, as well as her RCDC and Brooklynettes families for all of their support and love through the years!
