Juan is part of the next generation of Winans performers. The son of Carvin Winans, Sr. and Deborah Winans, Juan began performing at age 16 when he, his older brother and two cousins formed the group Winans Phase 2. Collaborating with such writers as Babyface & Rodney Jerkins, the group's debut album We Got Next went to No. 1 on the Billboard gospel chart and earned Juan a Grammy Award nomination. Since then, he has shared his love for performing on stages around the world and has written for such artists as Mary Mary, Lalah Hathaway, Joe, Mack Wilds, Michael Bolton, Heavy D, Beth Hart and others. Juan is writing for TV and film while finishing his first solo album, to be released in summer 2016. Sending kisses to his wife Lisa and daughter Sophia.
