Carol T. Jones has worked with the Alliance Theatre for thirty years and is the founder and director of the Institute for Educators and Teaching Artists. Prior to the Alliance, Carol taught in special needs classrooms for twelve years, worked in an Atlanta talent agency, was an artistic director for youth theatres in three states, and directed recreation therapy programs for the visually impaired and for psychiatric hospitals in North Carolina, New York City and Florida. She holds a B.A. in English/Spanish (Elon College); an M.S. in Recreation Administration (UNC); an M.Ed in Education (Coppin State, MD) and recently earned a C.A.G.S. degree in Arts Leadership from Plymouth State, NH, 2011.
