About the Class

Acting III: Scene Study is designed to help you deepen your technique with practice through the dedicated rehearsal and performance of scenes and monologues. The course emphasizes developing a strong sense of your presence as a performer and teaches you how to work effectively with a director. Students should be aware that some outside (virtual) rehearsal time may be expected.

Meet the Teacher

Allison Gardner

Allison has appeared in films, on stage, and in commercials. Allison received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drama from the University of Georgia. One of her favorite acting projects was touring England with a Christian drama group. She has taught drama for several years and really enjoys teaching at the Alliance Theatre.
