Alexander Nichols designs lighting, scenery, and projections for theater, opera, music, and dance. His work has been presented on Broadway, off-Broadway and in opera houses, concert halls, theaters, warehouses and vacant lots throughout the world. Recent projects include FIDELIO at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Yuri Possokhov’s SWAN LAKE at Hong Kong Ballet and Alonzo King’s THE BEAUTY OF DISSOLVING PORTRAITS at Lines Ballet. Upcoming projects include Dwight Rhoden’s WORLDS AWAY at Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Jacob Ming-Trent’s HOW SHAKESPEARE SAVED MY LIFE at Berkeley Rep and NIXON IN CHINA at Washington National Opera.
