Sheri Gilbert‑Wilson [she/her] is delighted to make her debut at the Alliance Theatre with the extraordinary cast and team of Purpose. A lifelong storyteller with a joyful spark of mischief, Sheri has spent 35 years acting and directing across six states, bringing curiosity, courage, and a deep love of collaboration to every rehearsal room and stage she enters. Favorite recent credits include Leonata in Much Ado About Nothing (Woodstock Arts Theatre, GA), Jo in The Wishing Place (Essential Theatre Festival, GA), and directing Macbeth (Hosch Theatre, GA). She earned her MFA in Classical Acting from George Washington University and the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C., training that continues to shape her devotion to language, physical storytelling, and the alchemy between actor and audience. Sheri is blessed to be a wife, mama, nana, actor, adjunct professor at the University of North Georgia (Gainesville, GA), Air Force veteran, and a proud little troublemaker!
