Volunteer Ushers

Thank you for your interest in the Volunteer Usher Program for the Alliance Theatre!

As a volunteer usher you will enjoy the privileges of being a part of our exciting theatrical family and making new friends. An Alliance Usher is an ambassador for the theatre and a host/hostess to our patrons for the performance. We strive to provide legendary service to our patrons. An Alliance Usher has a welcoming smile, a desire to serve, and an informed mind.

Dress Code

The Front of House managers, as well Patron Services team members and ushers working Front of House, are required to dress appropriately to represent the Alliance Theatre and not be a distraction while moving around the house during a performance. This means wearing dark clothing with quiet shoes. Clothing should not display text or graphics unless it’s an Alliance Theatre shirt. Examples of appropriate dress include plain or patterned dark colored slacks, tops, skirts, and dresses. Athletic wear is not permitted.
