Last fall we announced the Young Playwrights for Change competition and now we’re excited to bring you our winner and runners up!

I am proud to announce the Alliance winner of the national Young Playwrights for Change: The Anti-Bully Project. This 10-minute play competition is a nationwide contest for middle school students, jointly sponsored by TYA/USA and AATE. Our winner’s play has been submitted to the national organization and will be published in an anthology of the winning entries. If our entry wins first place on the national level, the play will be workshopped at The New Visions New Voices Festival at the Kennedy Center in May.
