Kalixta Easterwood

Kalixta just graduated Fall 2025 from the University of West Georgia and resides in Newnan, Georgia. She graduated with a BFA in Theatre, Acting Concentration at UWG and a Musical Theatre Certificate, a 17-credit hour certificate housed in the UWG Theatre and Music programs. During her training at UWG, Kalixta was nominated four times for the American College Theater Festival Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship. As a teaching artist Kalixta's pedagogy is to get the students comfortable in taking up space! That their presence and voice matters! Through warm ups and games students are able to explore their actor tools and gain confidence in their voice, movement, and imagination. She is excited to see the development of creativity come to life in the classroom!
