In this class students will:

• Understand the difference between verse and prose and what it means in terms of status and relationship.
• Learn how to scan Shakespeare’s text and use the information to inform your character’s emotional state and behavior. 
• Develop and craft your unique take on two of Shakepeare’s characters (choose from a tragedy, a comedy and a history play). 
• Perform and record final monologues/scenes at the Alliance to be used for reels, audition submissions, actor profiles, etc.
