About the Class
Discover the imaginative world of puppetry as a powerful medium for storytelling. Over the course of the class, we will embark on a creative journey, first by teaching young actors how to build their own puppets using simple objects they can find at home. Then we will focus on bringing them to life, learning techniques to articulate movement, make bold character choices, and give the puppets a distinct voice. By exploring the connection between a simple object, the character it becomes, and the story it can tell, students will strengthen their skills in acting, collaboration, and creative expression.
