Thank you for your interest in the Volunteer Usher Program for the Alliance Theatre!
As a volunteer usher you will enjoy the privileges of being a part of our exciting theatrical family and making new friends. An Alliance Usher is an ambassador for the theatre and a host/hostess to our patrons for the performance. We strive to provide legendary service to our patrons. An Alliance Usher has a welcoming smile, a desire to serve, and an informed mind.

- New for 2019/2020: As we begin our collaborative trainings with the ASO, we will begin to implement mandatory advanced training for all continuing ushers. You will have the span of the entire season to complete one of our advance training courses to remain an usher in active standing.
To become an Alliance Usher you will need to register and attend a New Usher Orientation Class. Each class lasts approximately 2 hours and is done in conjunction with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Woodruff Arts Center.
Your orientation will cover all policies and procedures for Alliance Ushers as well as those of the ASO and WAC. The class includes a tour of the Theatre and the Arts Centers facilities.
The following dates are currently available for the 2019/2020 Season:
Saturday, August 10th from 10am to 12pm.
Monday, August 12th from 6pm to 8pm.
All classes will be held at the WAC Campus, location TBD.
