About the Class

This workshop has been specially designed to teach you skills to reduce stress and anxiety that can arise when performing. Whether on stage, on camera, or in person meeting with an agent/director you will gain the tools needed to feel more relaxed and easy in your body.

Come prepared to move your body, step outside your comfort zone, and explore the potential of what your body can feel like in even the most stressful scenarios.

This class is also for non-actors. Anyone who experiences ‘performance’ anxiety when giving a presentation, going for a job interview, or simply interacting with others. All the skills learned in this intensive are applicable for actors and non-actors. Please reach out if you have any questions prior to signing up.

Meet the Teacher

Morgan Rysdon

Morgan Rysdon is a nationally certified Alexander Technique teacher and founder of Center Studio. With an active private practice in New York City, Atlanta, and internationally, she helps actors, singers, and dancers elevate their performances as well as recover from chronic pain, injury, stress, and anxiety. She holds a BA in acting and performing and spent time acting professionally in Chicago, working at theaters such as Victory Gardens Theatre, The Redmoon Theatre Company, and The Hypocrites. She gained her teaching certification from The American Center for the Alexander Technique in NYC. Committed to helping others, Morgan teaches both private lessons and group classes with a focus on building self-awareness, self-confidence, and poise through improving the overall function of an individual’s mind, body, breath, and voice. Since relocating to Atlanta in 2018, she has taught at the Alliance Theatre, Horizon Theater, Actors Express, Get Scene's Actor Summit, among others.
