Scraplanta Recycled Program Workshop

Join Alliance Theatre community partner, Scraplanta, for a special collaboration in connection to BASURA. For the run of the production, audience members can bring their BASURA program to a Scraplanta workshop at any location and recycle the program into a work of art. Scraplanta’s community workshops are taught by volunteer local artists who are eager to share their skills with the community. In our mission to make art more accessible, we have a sliding-scale price model for our workshops. We treat all participants the same, no matter what price they choose!
June 4 & July 2 // Junk Journaling at ScrapTucker
At this workshop you will explore the world of papercraft, photography, and journaling, discuss the benefits of junk journaling, and connect with like minded creatives. Bring your own journal! All materials included.
June 14 & July 12 // Papermaking at CreateATL
Learn to recycle and make your own paper with us at Scraplanta! Come explore the art of papermaking! In this workshop we will experiment with making paper pulp, forming sheets, decorating our paper, collaging, and anything in between!
June 18 & July 16 // Junk Journaling at CreateATL
