Alexandra Gaelle Royer (Ensemble) [she/her] is very happy to join the cast of Water for Elephants at the Alliance Theatre. It’s going to be her first experience in a musical and she can’t wait to discover this epic world. She graduated from the National circus school of Montréal and has been touring the world for the last 12 years, under the banner of the most renowned circuses and also with some less mainstream contemporary projects. Alex would love to thank all the people who made it possible for her to take part in such an adventure. Especially her idols (including the multi skills, of which trapeze, Shana Carroll, circus director) who always gave her the faith that the world was full of poetry, if you manage to open your eyes (and ears, and heart) to it. Alex is also fascinated by the American enthusiasm and eager to be immersed in its daily energy. She has absolutely no skill at social media, so she gave it up, but you can find her in bookstore or wasting time in a coffee shop that has a good machine.
