Angel Fabián Rivera is thrilled to serve as Associate Director of Carmela Full of Wishes at the Alliance Theatre through the Kenny Leon Directing Fellowship! Raised in Puerto Rico, Angel is an actor, director, writer, and producer dedicated to authentic Latino storytelling. His directing credits include Love & Happiness at Georgia Ensemble Theatre, Out of Hand's The American Dream, and most recently staged readings of his original multicam sitcom Fossil Fuel Café. As a performer, he starred alongside Gerard Butler in Lionsgate's Plane, appeared in NBC/Telemundo's Velvet, and served as a Spanish dubbing artist for Steven Spielberg's West Side Story. He hosts Lights, Camera, Latino!, one of FeedSpot's Top 20 Latino Storytelling Podcasts, and was named one of Georgia's 50 Most Influential Latinos.
