Barry Stewart Mann

Barry Stewart Mann (he/him/his) is an actor, storyteller and teaching artist who has been with the Alliance for the better part of three decades. Originally from New Jersey and Florida, he holds a BA from Harvard University and an MFA in Theatre from the University of San Diego. He has appeared in scores of plays in numerous theatres in Atlanta and beyond, including Fiddler On the Roof with Company J (Tevye), The Green Book at Theatrical Outfit, Homebody/Kabul at Horizon Theatre, Merchant of Venice at the Shakespeare Tavern, Angels In America at Arkansas Rep, and a season at the Florida Shakespeare Festival. He works as a drama teaching artist throughout the Southeast, in addition to the Alliance, through the Fulton County Teaching Museum, ArtsNOW, and the Georgia Council for the Arts. Barry tours internationally as a storyteller with Argentina's Dream On Productions, and in 2024 completed a Fulbright Specialist Project sharing arts integration practices across southern India. He is a proud member of Actors Equity Association, the National Storytelling Network, the Georgia Storytelling Network, and Kuumba Storytellers of Georgia.
