COLIN CALLENDER (Producer) is a Tony, Olivier, Emmy, and Golden Globe Award winning theatre, film and television producer who founded New York and London based Playground in 2012. Theatre productions include Nora Ephron’s Lucky Guy starring Tom Hanks in his Broadway debut, Harvey Fierstein’s Casa Valentina, Tony Award Winners Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Dear Evan Hansen, and the Tony and Olivier Award winning global hit Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Playground has produced over 140 hours of primetime television drama garnering 16 Emmy Award nominations, 29 BAFTA nominations, and 12 Golden Globe nominations, including winning a BAFTA and a Golden Globe for Best Miniseries “Wolf Hall”. Callender began his career as stage manager at London’s Royal Court Theatre working with David Hare and Sam Shepard.
