Courtney Moors-Hornick
Courtney Moors-Hornick (she/her) is a Canadian born actor and teaching artist with the Alliance Theatre Institute. Passionate about Shakespeare from an early age, she co-founded Barefoot Shakespeare Company in New York City in 2012 and serves as Barefoot’s Managing Director. She has worked as an actor with Orlando Shakespeare Theater, Orlando Fringe Festival, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Triad Stage, Portland Stage Company, NY Fringe, Barefoot Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare Kennesaw, Synchronicity Theatre, Atlanta Theatre Club, and Yellowhammer Theatre Group. Courtney received her BFA in acting from the University of Central Florida and studied as an acting apprentice at the TONY-award winning Actors Theatre of Louisville. She spent nearly eight years working and living in New York City, where she studied at the Barrow Group and the Acting Studio. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
