Flamenco career stems from his parents Pablo (guitarist) and Gloria (singer). He started playing guitar at age 20 and never looked back. In 1989 Cristian formed the flamenco-jazz group “Rabat and led the group in performances throughout Argentina, Brazil, Chili and Uruguay. Came to NY with a guitar in his hand and a dream in his heart and has played all tablaos in NY and many nationwide. Notable accomplishments: Composer for The Late Quartet (2012), Tahlia Theater (2002-2012), “Entre Cuerdas" with guest artist Al Dimeola, “Inflam” (flamenco/Indian fusion), and “Inside/Out”. Notable performances include: Kimmel Center with Peter Nero and The Philly Pops, The Bahamas International film festival, and the White House with actor/singer Terrence Howard. His trio, Puig-Sanchez-Moreno, can currently be seen throughout NY.
