Dan Caffrey

Dan Caffrey is a playwright, podcaster, and Teaching Artist with the Alliance. This past winter, he guided the Teen Ensemble through a cycle of original plays inspired by Outkast's seminal Atlanta album Stankonia. Prior to teaching at the Alliance, he earned his MFA In Playwriting from The University of Texas at Austin and spent over a decade creating original work in Chicago. He has been an O'Neill Finalist and Semi-Finalist, an MFA Scholar at the Sewanee Writers' Conference, and an Artist In Residence at the Tofte Lake Center.
