Denzel Taylor [he/him] is a Milwaukee native and alum of the University of Wisconsin - Madison, the First Wave: Hip Hop Arts program, and an Education residency with Milwaukee Repertory Theater. In 2022, Denzel briefly returned to First Wave as a performance and collaborative arts instructor and in the following year made his director’s debut at TBEY. Arts Center. His most special directing credits include The Meeting (Milwaukee Black Theater Festival), Once On This Island (Woodstock Arts), and most recently Grease (American Gothic Performing Arts).
