Divinity Roxx
Divinity Roxx (2X Grammy-nominated Artist) is thrilled to be back Into The Burrow with Fresh Greens! Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Divinity's distinguished career reflects her mastery of music and innovation across diverse genres. She gained international recognition touring with the legendary 5-time Grammy award-winning bass virtuoso, Victor Wooten. She then went on to hold the pivotal role of bassist and Musical Director in Beyoncé's original all-female band, performing for global audiences. Divinity’s current artistic focus is on inspiring and empowering young people through edutainment and storytelling. She is the composer and performer of the theme song for the Award-Winning PBS Kids show Lyla in the Loop, and two of her songs have been published as picture books by Scholastic Inc. As an artist already well-known for her commanding presence on music stages worldwide, Divinity’s talent now extends to the theatrical stage. She made her formal theatre debut as a co-composer on The Boy Who Kissed The Sky (Idris Goodwin). She further established herself in the theatre community in 2023, debuting her powerful original play, Starchild: The Ballad of Debbie Walker, as both playwright and actor at Crossroads Theater in New Brunswick, NJ. She currently lives in New Jersey, creating new work for the stage and music for the world, while also actively advocating for the next generation of artists as a Trustee for The Recording Academy.
