Divinity Roxx (Composer) is a multi-disciplinary Grammy-nominated composer from Atlanta, GA. She is delighted to collaborate with the Alliance Theatre production of Into the Burrow! Her career as a bass player skyrocketed after touring with 5-time Grammy award-winning bass virtuoso, Victor Wooten. After that, she toured and performed with Beyoncé as her bassist and Musical Director. Her production company, Divi Roxx Kids, aims to inspire and empower young people through music, edutainment and storytelling. In 2021, Scholastic Inc. released two picture books based on songs from her debut Grammy-nominated Family Music album, ‘Ready Set Go!’ Divinity’s original compositions can be heard on Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta, The Bold Type, and more. She composed and performed the theme song for Lyla in the Loop, premiering on PBS Kids in 2024. She made her theatrical debut as a co-composer on The Boy Who Kissed The Sky, (Idris Goodwin). She made her debut as a playwright and actor in the world premiere of ‘Starchild: The Ballad of Debbie Walker’ at Crossroads Theater in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2023.
