Donna Biscoe
Donna Biscoe is excited to make her return to the Alliance Theatre stage. Her first was in the 2008 production of Doubt: A Parable. Some of her theatre credits include her off-Broadway appearance in Heliotrope Bouquet at the Playwrights Horizons. She was also seen in To Kill a Mockingbird, Gee’s Bend, Waiting to Be Invited and The God Committee at Theatrical Outfit here in Atlanta; Blue, String of Pearls and Homebody Kabul at Horizon Theatre Company; and Fences and Joe Turner’s Come and Gone at the Springer Opera House in Columbus, Ga. Ms. Biscoe made her first regional appearance at the Arena Stage appearing in Holiday Heart and at the Detroit Rep, where she was the recipient of the Detroit Free Press Theatre Excellence award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Lilly in Crumbs From the Table of Joy. Some of her film credits include Daddy’s Little Girls, Motives 2, The Gospel, One Missed Call, Diary of a Mad Black Woman and a co-starring role in the sci-fi film Frankenfish. Ms. Biscoe is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University.
