In 2010, he was awarded both Lucille Lortel and Drama Desk Awards for his design for When the Rain Stops Falling at Lincoln Center’s Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater, and was nominated again in 2011 for his work on The Other Place at MCC, which completed its Broadway run this winter at the Friedman. His symphony, The Holy Land, a 45-minute work for baritone, tenor, mezzo-soprano, and orchestra was completed in January of this year, and he is the founder of Chance Magazine, a new theatre design magazine that debuted in May.
