Frédéric Lemieux Cormier

Frédéric Lemieux Cormier grew up in the world of circus and theatre, immersed in this artistic universe from an early age. With a mother who is a costume designer for the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil and a father who is an actor, performer, and director for theatre and television, his love for the stage developed naturally. After graduating from the National Circus School of Montreal, he has spent the past 18 years traveling the world, working with a wide range of circus companies, several of which are internationally renowned. These include Cirque du Soleil, Les 7 Doigts de la Main, Circus Monti, and Cirque Éloize. A generous, committed, patient, and determined artist, Frédéric has a strong drive to create and push his own limits. Constantly eager to learn, he explores many disciplines, from acrobatic bicycle to Hand-to-Hand, from Banquine to Teeterboard, while remaining faithful to his two main specialties: the German Wheel and an aerial apparatus of his own invention, the Plus Cubique. His creative work extends beyond circus performance alone. Over the past four years, he has been particularly prolific with the creation of Marguerite à Bicyclette, a company founded in collaboration with Pauline Baud and Jérémy Vitupier. The company stands out for its strong commitment to eco-design, bicycle-based touring, and the democratization of the performing arts.
