Regional: William Tecumseh Sherman in The March (Steppenwolf Theater), title roles in The Madness of King George (Jeff Award) and Cyrano De Bergerac (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre), Lear in King Lear and Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof with the Antaeus Company, Prospero, The Tempest (Shakespeare Orange County), Lincoln and LBJ in Appomattox, The Guthrie Theatre. Film:  About Schmidt, Road to Perdition, Amistad, Patch Adams, Brubaker, Cure for Wellness, A Futile and Stupid Gesture, and the upcoming Oppenheimer, directed by Chris Nolan. He is a proud founding member of The Antaeus Company in Los Angeles and is happily married to his wife of 45 years, Dawn Didawick.
