John's work has been seen at LATC, Guthrie, Portland Center Stage, South Coast Rep, Humana Festival, Disney Hall, Geffen, Center Theater Group, Broad Stage, Cherry Lane, Evidence Room, Boston Court, Antaeus, Padua Playwrights, Actors’ Gang, 24th Street Theater. Awards include six LA Stage Alliance Ovations, seven LA Weekly Awards, two LADCC Awards, and ten Backstage Garlands. Recent work includes The Day Shall Declare It, an immersive performance at Theatre Delicatessen in London, UK, and Imperial Art Studios in Downtown LA; Everything You Touch with Rattlestick/Boston Court at Cherry Lane in NY; Tokyo Fish Story at South Coast Rep; La Olla with Latino Theater Company at Getty Villa, Malibu; My Barking Dog at Boston Court, Pasadena; Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, America, Kuwait at Gym at Judson, NYC, and Destiny of Desire at Arena Stage, Washington DC.
