Kerrington Griffin is a performing artist based in Atlanta, Georgia and is currently one of Alliance’s Spelman Leadership Fellows. She graduated from Spelman College, Cum Laude, in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance & Choreography where she was awarded Departmental Honors and membership in the campus’ chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. Griffin began her professional dance career with Of Moving Colors Dance Company as one of the company’s first apprentices to become a company member while in high school. She has also collaborated with Nyama Contemporary Dance Company’s Roxi Victorian as a founding member and Resident Artist for the Kennedy Center’s REACH facility in 2022. When not at Alliance, she is leading the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream’s Hypesquad as Captain. Kerrington is invested in performance that not only captures the audience but invites them to be a part of its story and is excited to be a part of her first production with Theatre for the Very Young.
