Kirsten is the proud product of a military family and as an Atlanta-based actor, writer, and creative director, she brings over 20 years of improv, teaching, & performance experience to the Alliance Theatre Education team. She graduated from Auburn University with a BFA in Theatre - Performance and studied at the Circle In The Square summer conservatory on Broadway. She teaches a variety of youth, teen, & adult improv and acting classes through a variety of creative collaborations with public, private, charter, homeschool, online, and other arts education community partnerships. Kirsten has trained in Meisner, Shakespeare, classic works, musical improv, and both short and long-form improv. Kirsten is a member of the Atlanta-based improv group Dark Side Of The Room and some of her credits include sharing the stage with comedy colleagues Colin Mochrie, Greg Proops, Mark Meer, and Mark Kendall & she was a chosen performer for the Kenan Thompson Atlanta Comedy Showcase.
