Korey, from Culver City, Calif., has designed environments and scenery for theater, television, film and tours for two decades. He has presented his design work in more than 150 venues, arenas and theaters around the country. Outside of his recent production design projects, including the upcoming Verses and Flow, Toni Braxton’s 2016 tour and Kevin Hart’s LOL and She Funny, he has expanded his experience to create Production Strategies and Design Group. Most recently Korey was on the production design team for the What Now? concert film with Kevin Hart. He was honored to design the world premiere of Pearl Cleage’s Tell Me My Dream at the Alliance. The most prolific and exciting production he’s been a part of is led by his executive producer Tracey, his wife of 26 years, and his associate producers Clark, Jason and Andrew, all of whom are glad to have him as creative director on their lifelong production titled Family.
