Marilyn hails from Harlem. Her theater credits include Nicky Silva’s Agony of the Agony and Kia Corthron’s Breath Boom at Yale Rep. She’s also honored to have been part of Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Theater Festival, where she appeared in Late Night, Early Morning. Marilyn’s film credits include Maid in Manhattan, Bella, Bernard & Doris, Lady in the Water, and The Arrangement. She’s appeared on Law & Order, Law & Order SVU, The Chris Rock Show, Flight of the Concords, and Third Watch. She’s written and performed two solo shows, Snap Shots and I Have Something to Say. Her monologues have been featured on Show Time at the Apollo and HBO. She can next be seen in the independent films Home and Musical Chairs. Marilyn is grateful to be able to play on the Alliance stage.
