Nevainia glows like a sun-kissed penny under the theatre lights. Her theatre credits include Tyler Perry’s stage play I Know I’ve Been Changed, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide… (directed by Jasmine Guy), The Amen Corner, The Negro Dance Lesson, and more. The camera and Nevaina have a mutual love affair. She has been seen on Tyler Perry’s “House of Payne,” “One Tree Hill” and “Army Wives." Some of her film credits include The New Daughter starring Kevin Costner, who said that profiles Nevaina “could hold her own." She delivers stellar performances in The Wronged Man and the recently released Good Deeds. Much of her technique she credits to her mentor and surrogate Grandfather, the late Frank Wittow of The Academy Theatre. Nevaina’s motto: For the Lord is my strength and keeper of my craft. She thanks her family for letting Mommy go out and play!
