Raymond Carr (Shadow Puppet Design/Filmography) Raymond Carr has been a filmmaker and puppeteer for 20 years. His award-winning films have been accepted into Oscar-qualifying film festivals worldwide. His highly stylized films specialize in puppetry, sci-fi, and fantasy with a social consciousness. He co-stars in the Jim Henson Company’s series Splash and Bubbles on PBS and is an ensemble member of the puppet improv group Puppet Up for Henson Alternative. He has also worked on shows like Crank Yankers, Walking With Dinosaurs, Lazytown on Nick Jr, BBC’s Moon and Me, Earth To Ned on Disney+ and various projects for the Center for Puppetry Arts and Cartoon Network, HBO, Disney. Raymond’s Film Hitori produced by Heather Henson’s Handmade Puppet Dreams is currently available on Amazon Prime. In addition, he served on the board of The Jim Henson Foundation. He was recently the Puppet Captain for the upcoming Netflix limited series ERIC, starring Benedict Cumberbatch premiering in early 2024.
