Robert Stanton appeared on Broadway in Uncle Vanya, A Free Man of Color, and The Coast of Utopia at Lincoln Center Theater; Ink and Saint Joan at MTC; and Mary Stuart. Two-dozen Off-Broadway credits include an Obie Award for All in the Timing, Love Child, performed with co-writer Daniel Jenkins at Primary Stages; The Killer at Theatre for a New Audience; Fuddy Meers at MTC; Caryl Churchill’s Owners and Traps in repertory at New York Theatre Workshop; Love’s Labor’s Lost, Cymbeline, and Measure for Measure directed by Joseph Papp at The Public Theater. He just appeared in the world premiere of Keith Bunin’s The Thing About Jellyfish at Berkeley Rep; others among his extensive regional credits include Strange Interlude and an Emery Battis Award for The Critic & The Real Inspector Hound at Shakespeare Theatre Company; The School for Wives at Two River; Twelfth Night, Once in a Lifetime, and The Homecoming at the American Repertory Theater. Many film appearances include Confessions of a Shopaholic, Find Me Guilty, The Quiet American, Washington Square, Dennis the Menace, Bob Roberts, and A League of Their Own. Recent television includes "Your Friends and Neighbors," "Blue Bloods," "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin," and "Mr. Mercedes."
