Roderick Whitney Jr. [he/him] is thrilled to join the cast of Purpose and to be making his debut at the Alliance Theatre! In 2024, he made his Atlanta theatre debut with Authenticity Theatre in The Flick as Avery at 7 Stages Theatre. His most recent TV/Film credits include SNAP (AMC Networks, Hakim), Release (Roland), RUSH (Earnest), and Songs of Zion (Michael). He is a former student at the University of Cincinnati-CCM Drama program. A native of Louisville, KY, Roderick is grateful for his mother back home, along with all of his friends and family, for their support. He is incredibly thankful to God and the Alliance for this opportunity!
