Sara Ornelas

Sara Ornelas [she/her] was born and raised deep in the heart Texas and wears her Mexican roots proudly. Her acting career began in church where she usually played Satan. She is thrilled to debut at the Alliance Theatre, and honored to join the Mexodus team as the first woman to understudy this role. Favorite credits include  Troubador in Comedy of Errors (The Public), Kati in Canciones (An immersive piece in a Brooklyn home), and Frida Kahlo in A Ribbon About a Bomb (An Immersive piece on Governors Island, NYC). She received her BFA from the University of Houston, her water intake comes from the ice in her lattes, and do not talk to her about foraging or she will never stop talking. Sara would love to thank her family for supporting her delusions. Find her on social media: @Saravornelas
