Shuler Hensley

Shuler Hensley is an award-winning actor and director. He is director/artistic director of City Spring Theatre Company. As a performer, Broadway credits include: The Music Man opposite Hugh Jackman, Tom Kettle in The Ferryman, No Man’s Land/Waiting for Godot opposite Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Fan McKellen and Billy Crudup; as the Monster in Young Frankenstein (also National Tour and London’s West End), and Jud Fry in Oklahoma! (Also the National Theatre & London’s West End - Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Olivier Awards). Shuler has performed with the New York Philharmonic St. Luke Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and the New World Symphony Orchestra. TV/Film include: “The Greatest Showman,” “Van Helsing,” “Dexter: New Blood,” “The Good Fight," “Law & Order: SVU,” “Criminal Intent." Proud Equity member. Shuler was awarded the “Stage Performance of the Year” by New York Magazine in recognition for his work in "The Whale." He is also the namesake of the GA High School musical theatre awards.
