Spelman Leadership Fellow

Taylor Mills is a storyteller, performer, and creative leader whose work lives at the intersection of artistry, authenticity, and impact. A Spelman College graduate C’O 2026 with a BA in Theatre & Performance and former Miss Spelman College. Taylor has appeared in numerous professional productions at the Southwest Arts Center, Spelman College, and Clark Atlanta University. As one of Alliance’s Spelman Leadership Fellows, her recent work held the title of Assistant Director for the 25th anniversary of Alliance Theatre’s Palefsky Collision Project. Her performance work is rooted in storytelling that uplifts, reflects, and connects audiences through meaningful narratives. Beyond the stage, Taylor has emerged as a powerful moderator and interviewer. She has led fireside chats at Spelman College featuring ESSENCE Ventures’ CEO Caroline Wanga, actress and producer Paula Patton, and most recently, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Halle Bailey. She also interviewed Shannon Sharpe, Stephen A. Smith, and Cam Newton during ESPN’s First Take live taping. Her growing media presence includes features in Seventeen Magazine and appearing on the 2026 digital cover of EBONY Magazine in collaboration with Mielle. Whether she is performing on stage or moderating meaningful conversations, Taylor remains committed to leaving every space better than she found it.
