Toni is proud to make her Alliance Theatre debut in the title role. Ms. Trucks has a wide range of work spanning stage, film, and television. This fall she can be found as a recurring character on the new Jerry Bruckheimer CBS series Hostages. Other television credits include The Soul Man, Made In Jersey, Do No Harm, CSI:NY, House, Brothers, Veronica Mars, All Of Us, Barbershop, and Starstruck. Trucks most recently completed work on the new Disney feature film Alexander, And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day starring Steve Carell. Past film credits include The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, Music and Lyrics, Dreamgirls and Ruby Sparks. Regional: Toni/Cactus Flower (Capital Rep), Gail Lumet/Stormy Weather (Pasadena Playhouse), Lois/Kiss me Kate (Sacramento Music Circus), Julia/Two Gentlemen Of Verona (Baltimore Center Stage), Anita/West Side Story (Music Theatre of Wichita). Trucks earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan.
