The Collective
A free weekly workshop for artists
About The Collective
Atlanta artists—welcome to The Collective—a free weekly workshop where actors, writers, and directors can practice their craft, take risks, and engage in artistic discourse. This is the perfect chance to practice your audition, try out that new monologue you’re not sure about, or to finally hear your screenplay out loud. Come with an intention, be brave, and be ready to work.
The Collective operates with an open-door policy: we welcome any artist who would like to attend. No need to RSVP. If you’re bringing work, show up early and get your name on the sign-up sheet (first come, first serve). You’ll get 20 minutes: 10 minutes for work, and 10 minutes for feedback (optional). Feedback is facilitated by actor/filmmaker Cait Cortelyou. The Collective is absolutely free.
When We Meet
We meet Fridays 6:30 – 9:30 pm. Join us at The Alliance Theatre (located at 1280 Peachtree Street NE) on the 3rd floor in the Hamacher Studio.
Parking
We recommend the free street parking in the Ansley neighborhood; there are also a number of parking garages nearby.

She has been seen on TV in Bull on CBS, and in a recurring role on Steven Soderbergh’s The Knick on HBO.
