Design Camps
In Theater Design camp, young artists in rising grades K-4 will explore the creative fields that bring performances to life. With convenient locations across Metro Atlanta, our camps are the ideal choice for aspiring artists and designers of all skill levels.
About the Experience
At Design Camp, young artists are invited to explore theater through hands-on exercises in scenic, costume, props, and lighting design. Through this exciting exploration, campers will gain insight into how design enhances storytelling and transforms a stage into a fully realized world. Guided by professional theater artists, campers will:
- Master Design Techniques: Learn the fundamentals of theatrical design, from brainstorming concepts to creating final products.
- Engage in Collaborative Creativity: Share ideas and work as a team to bring designs to life.
- Build Confidence and Skills: Explore their creative talents in a supportive and encouraging environment.
The camp culminates in a design presentation for very important producers (a.k.a. friends and family), where campers proudly share their innovative and creative work.
