How to License a Script
Developed and premiered by the Alliance Theatre, our Theatre for Young Audiences and Bernhardt Theatre for the Very Young productions are created specifically for children and their grown-ups. These immersive works invite curiosity, imagination, and meaningful connection through live performance.
Whether you’re a professional theatre, children’s theatre, university, museum, or performing arts center, licensing a Theatre for Young Audiences or Theatre for the Very Young production gives you access to thoughtfully crafted scripts and materials designed to support successful productions.

Theatre for the Very Young
Dinosaur!

When you love dinosaurs, they pop up everywhere — at the grocery store, at preschool, and even when your grown-ups are hosting a fancy dinner party! But how can you focus on folding your napkin and chewing with your mouth closed when there’s an apatosaurus munching on your salad and pterodactyls swarming your soup? You can’t! Get ready to find out how even the simplest day-to-day task can turn into an epic dinotastic adventure that will leave little ones laughing and roaring for more.

The Lizard & El Sol
Original Direction by Rosemary Newcott
An interactive adventure based on a famous Mexican folktale about a time when El Sol (the Sun) disappeared from the sky. Young ones and their caregivers will help the tenacious Lizard find the sleepy El Sol and finally coax him out of his hiding place. With colorful puppets and bright Mexican inspired music and dance, this journey culminates in a grand festival celebrating the joy of sunshine and friendship!

Roob and Noob

Meet Roob and Noob: two overly curious scientists who love nothing more than discovering something new. Join them on an interactive adventure, as they build machines from simple objects and explore the wonder and sensations of each of the four seasons. Inspired by Rube Goldberg’s magical machines, this unique theatrical performance combines science and the arts, proving that sometimes the most profound discoveries are achieved by simply playing.
