The Alliance Theatre is easy to reach in the heart of Midtown – right next to MARTA, a few blocks from I-75/85, and directly on Peachtree Street. Surrounded by great dining options, the Woodruff Arts Center campus offers world-class facilities and a seamless theater experience.

Performances take place in the Memorial Arts Building at 1280 Peachtree Street NE, which we share with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Safety Protocols

The safety of our patrons, artists, and staff is the Alliance’s top priority.

The Memorial Arts Building is secured by the Evolv Security System. The Evolv Security System, employed at numerous performance venues around the country, is a state-of-the-art security portal that safely and noninvasively detects and deters people from bringing concealed weapons into the building. The system allows for quick and seamless entry while maintaining a high level of security.

Per the Woodruff Arts Center policy, weapons of any kind are prohibited on the Arts Center campus. Thank you for your cooperation as we seek to keep our audiences, artists and staff safe.

The following items are not permitted on the venue premises:
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Backpacks/oversized purses
  • Large umbrellas
  • Banners, leaflets, posters, flags
  • Video/audio recording devices
  • Professional cameras with detachable lenses
  • Laptops, iPads, tablets
  • Outside food & beverages
