Do You Love the Dark? follows a young girl during a sleepless night trying to conquer her biggest fear of all: the dark! Inspired by the Mayor's Summer Reading Club original book by Maya Lawrence and illustrated by R. Gregory Christie, this interactive play invites the audience on an unforgettable journey to not only conquer the fear of the unknown, but to transform it into love. Join us for this humungous hug of a play and discover all of the good love glowing in the dark!

COVID safety protocols:

Safety for our patrons, artists, and staff is our top priority. With safety in mind and in close consultation with local health experts, the Alliance will require all audience members ages 12 and older to show upon arrival proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test for entry. In accordance with this policy, all guests must show valid ID. For guests under 16, an ID provided for the accompanying adult will be accepted. Guests under the age of 12 are not required to show proof of vaccination or a test result. In accordance with our mask policy, DO YOU LOVE THE DARK is recommended for children ages 2 and up. Children under 2 who cannot mask will not be admitted.
